novekor.com • Website visits, inquiries, registrations, and business communications
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Novekor, LLC (“Novekor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information through novekor.com, linked forms or registration pages, inquiries, educational activities, and business communications that link to this Policy (collectively, the “Services”). It does not govern a client’s independent systems or practices, third-party websites, or employment applications unless expressly stated.
2. Information we collect
- Information you provide: name, email address, telephone number, organization, professional role, mailing or billing details, course interests, credentials or prerequisites, inquiry content, survey responses, accessibility requests, attendance information, and testimonial or media permissions.
- Business and transaction information: proposals, contracts, purchases, invoices, payment status, refunds, and related records. Novekor does not currently accept payment-card information through this website. Do not send payment-card numbers through ordinary email or website fields.
- Device and network information: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, requested pages, timestamps, approximate location derived from IP, and security or diagnostic information processed when the website is delivered.
- Information from organizations and other sources: rosters, sponsorship details, course eligibility, attendance or completion requests, and business contact information received from clients, sponsors, venues, referral sources, or public professional sources.
- Limited sensitive information: information voluntarily provided when reasonably necessary for accessibility or safety. Please provide only what is necessary and do not submit patient identifiers, protected health information (“PHI”), Social Security numbers, financial-account credentials, or unrelated medical details through the website or ordinary email.
3. How information is collected
We collect information directly from you, from an organization acting on your behalf, from service providers used to operate the Services, and from public or professional sources. When you submit the inquiry form, the information you enter and related technical and security data are transmitted to Formspree, our form-processing provider, so the inquiry can be delivered to Novekor. If you contact us using the direct email link instead, your message is processed by your email provider and Novekor’s email provider.
4. How we use information
- Respond to inquiries and develop proposals or requested services.
- Schedule, deliver, customize, and document educational activities and other contracted services.
- Process registrations, invoices, payments, refunds, support requests, prerequisites, attendance, and completion records where applicable.
- Communicate about engagements, schedule changes, safety, service administration, and business relationships.
- Maintain contract, consent, financial, insurance, attendance, and compliance records.
- Improve the website, curricula, services, security, and business operations.
- Send promotional communications in accordance with applicable law and honor opt-out requests.
- Prevent misuse, protect people and property, enforce agreements, comply with legal obligations, and establish or defend legal claims.
5. Website technology, cookies, and external resources
Novekor does not currently place advertising cookies or pixels or use third-party behavioral advertising on the website. Cloudflare hosts and secures the website and may process IP addresses, request and device information, and security data needed to deliver and protect it. Formspree processes inquiry-form submissions and related technical and security data for form delivery, abuse prevention, and submission administration. The site also requests font files from Google Fonts; when a page loads, your browser connects to Google and transmits ordinary network information such as your IP address and browser request. Those providers process information under their own privacy terms.
Browser “Do Not Track” signals do not have a single generally accepted technical or legal meaning. Because Novekor does not currently sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, the site does not presently offer a separate advertising opt-out mechanism. If we introduce nonessential analytics, advertising technology, or practices requiring consent or an opt-out, we will update this Policy and provide the required controls.
6. How we disclose information
We may disclose personal information as reasonably necessary to:
- service providers supporting website hosting and security, email, forms, registration, scheduling, payment processing, accounting, file storage, customer management, course administration, and professional advice;
- clients, sponsors, instructors, venues, or approving bodies when needed to arrange, deliver, document, or verify a service;
- a successor or involved parties in a financing, merger, reorganization, sale, or similar business transaction, subject to appropriate protections; or
- government authorities or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, protect safety or rights, investigate misuse, or enforce an agreement.
Novekor does not sell personal information for money and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing except with your direction or consent.
7. Health information and client data
The public website is not intended to collect PHI or patient records. Novekor is not acting as a health care provider through the website, and this Policy is not a HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices. If a contracted service requires Novekor to create, receive, maintain, or transmit PHI on behalf of a HIPAA covered entity or business associate, that information must be handled through an approved method and governed by the applicable service agreement and, when required, a Business Associate Agreement. A client’s privacy notice and legal duties continue to apply to information the client controls.
8. Retention
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and for legitimate business and legal needs. Retention periods vary by record type. For example, inquiry messages may be retained while a business relationship is active or reasonably anticipated; contract, invoice, attendance, completion, consent, and compliance records may be retained for the period required by our agreements, tax and accounting rules, insurers, approving bodies, applicable limitation periods, or law. Information may be kept longer when subject to a legal hold. When reasonably practicable, information no longer needed is deleted, securely disposed of, or de-identified, subject to backup cycles and legal obligations.
9. Security and breach response
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards reasonably appropriate to the nature of the information and the size and complexity of our operations. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If an incident affects personal information, Novekor will investigate and provide notices to affected individuals, clients, regulators, or others when required by applicable law. Report suspected security issues to info@novekor.com.
10. Your choices and privacy requests
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information you provided; withdraw an optional consent for future use; opt out of promotional email; or ask a privacy question by contacting us. Depending on where you live and which law applies, you may have additional rights concerning access, correction, deletion, portability, use of sensitive information, targeted advertising, sale or sharing, profiling, non-discrimination, or appeal of a denied request. Novekor will honor rights required by applicable law.
We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. We may retain or withhold information when permitted or required for contracts, accounting, safety, security, legal claims, regulatory compliance, or the rights of others. An authorized agent may submit a request where applicable, subject to verification of the agent’s authority and the consumer’s identity. If applicable law provides an appeal right, you may appeal a denied request by replying to our decision or emailing info@novekor.com with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line.
11. Marketing communications
You may opt out of promotional email by using the unsubscribe method provided in the message or by contacting us. We may still send non-promotional communications concerning an inquiry, registration, transaction, safety issue, or existing business relationship.
12. Children
The website is intended for professionals and organizations and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from a child under 13 without legally sufficient parental authorization. If you believe a child submitted personal information, contact us so we can assess and delete it as appropriate. A program involving minors must use a separate enrollment and parent or guardian process; ordinary website inquiries should not include a minor’s personal or medical information.
13. Third-party links and services
Links to third-party websites, embedded resources, social networks, or registration and payment platforms are governed by those parties’ practices. Novekor does not control their privacy or security practices, and a link does not imply endorsement of those practices.
14. United States processing
Novekor is based in North Carolina, United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations used by our service providers. The Services are directed primarily to organizations and professionals in the United States. If you access them from another jurisdiction, its privacy and data-transfer requirements may differ.
15. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy as our Services, technology, and legal obligations change. We will post the revised version and update the “Last updated” date. If required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before applying a material change to information previously collected.
